NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Wendy T.
Like you, I’ve taken the courses. I’ve poured hours into creating artwork, building collections, and even mustered the courage to pitch to art directors. But somewhere between sketching ideas, managing dozens of files, and remembering who I sent what to… I got overwhelmed.
I was frustrated that there wasn’t a tool built for us—surface pattern designers—who need more than a digital filing cabinet. We need a system that not only organizes our designs but nudges us to follow up, reminds us of the right time to pitch, and helps us stay consistent without the chaos.
That’s why I created DesignPartner. I’ve worked and reworked workflows until they felt natural, intuitive, and supportive—because planning and organizing is my love language. What started as my personal solution has grown into a tool that makes the process lighter, calmer, and a little more fun for other designers, too.

My Story
I’ve spent over 20 years in design, retail marketing, and product development—helping bring ideas to life in the world’s largest retailer. Along the way, I’ve worn a lot of hats—graphic designer, project manager, and marketing manager, just to name a few. I’ve created designs, tracked timelines, managed vendors, and launched products with teams spread across the globe.
But through it all, I’ve also been an artist at heart. I earned degrees in commercial art and computer graphic design, and later went on to get my MBA (crazy for an art major, I know). That mix of creativity and business has shaped the way I approach life—always balancing big ideas with thoughtful planning.
Outside of work, I’m fueled by curiosity and adventure. I love to travel and find inspiration in new places and cultures. And closer to home, I share life with my husband and a couple of dachshunds who keep things playful and remind me not to take it all too seriously.
